Emotion. truth.depth.vulnerability. where does the word come from, not from the singer before you..
not just from her, anyway..
maybe from you too..
  will you dance sometimes? like youve never danced as noone  can see you?
will you allow yourself to question your own life? where life has taken you?
or maybe youll just sigh ,at the beauty, of the truth, once turned into words that you hadnt  quite grasped inside you.
  the truth is always a relief.
identifying carries its own reward.

matters of the heart seem to speak one language after all and the human experience doesn't  go down very many  unknown by anybody else alleys.
.Have you loved as much ..do you enjoy broken heart conversation-  is it  the inspiration and promise of more that  carries you to believe it is better to make believe than make do.

Stripped down to just keyboard and voice, music-making doesn't get much more personal than this.....Some of the songs almost give the impression of being improvised – ‘Busy Fairies' being a prime example – while others such as ‘I'll Always Walk Away' have a more clearly defined harmonic motion.

Pianist Tom Pilling creates a variety of atmospheric soundscapes, from rippling right-hand figurations and booming bass octaves to the merest chordal fragments, against which the singer delivers her painful and questioning soliloquies in a voice that at times is so gossamer-light it threatens to evaporate into the ether. A disc that's simultaneously disconcerting and moving."
